Welcome to Avidia Hackspace! By participating in our program, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before applying.
Participants must be startup founders or entrepreneurs looking to build a tech foundation for their business. Selected startups will be required to commit to the full 8-week program and participate actively in all scheduled events.
Once you apply, you'll receive a problem statement to work on in Avidia Labs. If you're shortlisted, you'll be invited to the final offline Hackspace event.
The Hackspace program begins with a 36-hour prototyping session. Selected startups will work closely with our developers to create a prototype, which will serve as the foundation for the final product.
Over the next eight weeks, our team will work on converting your prototype into a fully functional product. Bi-weekly updates will be provided, accessible via our website.
The program concludes with a Demo Day where you will present your completed product. This is an opportunity to showcase your work to investors, mentors, and other entrepreneurs.
Before the hackathon begins, we will finalize the terms of the grant provided by our partner, Edodwaja Foundation. The grant will cover 30-40% of your development costs, depending on the agreement.
All intellectual property developed during the Hackspace program will be owned by Avidia. By participating, you agree that any products, ideas, or technologies created during the program will be the sole property of Avidia.
All participants are required to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared during the program. Breach of confidentiality will result in immediate disqualification from the program.
Avidia Hackspace reserves the right to modify the program structure, schedule, or terms at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.
Avidia Hackspace and its partners will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur during the program. Participants assume all risks associated with their involvement in the program.
By applying to and participating in Avidia Hackspace, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
